Immaculate condition
Black leather interior, e/w, e/m, p/s, a/c
Service records with Honda and a private company
New clutch fitted
New battery
New tie rod ends
The car doesn't smoke and doesn't use oil or water
This car is 100% standard - no modifications & has never been raced.

Faults:
Slight dent on rear bumper & rear tailgate (see pic)
Ball joints or steering rack needs replacing (slight knock when car goes over bumps)
Left hand side headlight discoloured (common fault)

My price has taken into account the known faults.

I have an Opel Corsa Lite+ B 2007.

I just bought a set of 15" mags with 195 50's.

I am looking to fit a Jamex Lowering kit.
2 Questions:
What is the quality on that brand??
Is there a way for me to know whether or not the mags will get in the way of the body work or will scratch ridiculously?

And just to confirm my model does have the facelift?

i'm struggling with overboost on my 200ts. On a warm day i'm boosting 0.6 in 1st gear without any overboosting issues but as soon as it starts to rain or gets cold outside the boost goes up to 0.9 in 1st gear and then the car starts to jerk.

Will a Dastek Uni q chip sort out this issue?

In november I had a court case in knysna regarding a drunk driving case that i was accused of.. This particular night in August I attended a funeral in plett and was stone cold sober that evening but i got locked up on suspicion of D.I.U. and blood taken, sent away, manhandled by the pigs, the usual rigmarole..

anyway, background set, i had to be in court at 8am in knysna, so i decided to leave at 5am to arrive in time.. 4:55am i find out my friend wants to come with (she's using my GLS) so we decide to ditch the 4speed 1.4 cub in favor of the 1.6 5speed GLS and maybe save a few bucks in fuel..

problem is: she's got a business called METROFINES where she basically uses the legal system in her advantage to negotiate reductions or withdrawls in traffic fines, directly with the public prosecutor.. this is not the problem, the problem was that she had plates made that read METROFINE and fit them to the GLS the previous day just to see what it would look like, take photo's etc etc but she did not register these puppies yet, with the intention of taking them off the next day.. as we had the last minute change in transport arrangements, we completely forgot about the unlicenced plates still on the car..

Anyway, smooth sailing, cruised all the way up to knysna, just to be told that the blood results have not returned yet (3months later), and the court case was indefinetly postponed pending the blood.. so i decide to make the most of my day off and cruise on to sedgefield where a really good friend of mine stays.. hardly inside the town, this nissan champ with traffic badges starts following me around so i decide to pull over and explain the story..

out climbs the biggest box, complete with his RayBan shades and PedoSnor, walks up and starts questioning me about the plates. I tell him they're not licenced, and that i'm prepared to pay the R500 per plate standard fine if he's not happy with giving me a warning.. This ou insists we follow him to the station, so I comply, as I know being hardass doesn't get you anywhere with these people. There, he gets all aggro with me and starts going on about criminal offence and i'm going to sleep in jail for fraud and he's getting the cops involved etc etc.. now he wants to open a dockitt (traffic officer) and he will fight to ensure i end up with a criminal record, and because of scum like me the roads are in the mess that they are Blah blah.. (ironic, isnt it?)

so i try to play into it, saying how i 'fully agree', he's 'absolutely right' and i regret the mistake i've made but the ou just carries on, singing the tune that i've now become 'arrogant' with him, and that the white man's time is passed and we should stop thinking we can get away with everything (oh how familiar i've become with that little phrase) and he sees me as nothing more than a common criminal.. So my friend steps in, saying that if the matter turns criminal, then i doesn't matter who drove the car, and since she was the one who admitted responsibility for the plates, they can't do anything to me other than a fine.. we have the original plates in the car and were ready to put them back on..

Now he's really jumping on his high horse, coz he's got a badge and no-one can tune him kak, writes her out a fine (for the same f00king thing!! - R500), keeps carrying on with me, until we reach a point where he's stiffy from threatening me with all the power at his disposal (and beyond) subsides.. no longer getting the cops involved, no longer putting me in jail, in exchange for a R2 500 fine, provided i pay it straight away, which struck me as very odd.. I insist on a formal written fine, which he writes out with a huge facepalm. As he hands it to me my friend points out that the amount is only payable by feb! so i neatly fold my fine up and put it in my pocket, casually stroll out of the building and wish all the c*nts farewell.. he comes after me saying he will find me, he will make sure i'm locked up for this, and confescates the METROFINE plates in the process.. We drive away..

My friend then proceeded to pay the prosecutor a visit a month later just to discuss all the legalities involved with this outburst fine.. he chuckles, saying that we must've really pissed the guy off, as this was the most severe fine that could be written out for such an offence.. BUT since there were two fines issued for the same offence, at the same time, by the same officer, they effectively cancelled each other out because of incorrect procedures.. since the license disc still indicated the correct licensing details, this did not constitute fruad, just incorrect plates, which still only means R500 per plate.. since the happening of this event has long passed, the new R500 per plate fines could be contested and withdrawn anyway so he didn't even bother with those..

So a few minutes later we were issued with the following document, oh so sweet to the taste.. wish i had the box's postal adress, i'd forward him a copy once a week, every week for the rest of the year. Rocking

So... this friend of mine doesn't organise underhandedly for fines to be 'sqaushed' or to disappear, she literally throws the book at these clowns that think they can f*ck us motorists around.. and 11 times out of 10, these idiots can't follow the legislation regarding proper procedures for issueing fines.. and we are stupid enough to pay and let them get away with it, encouraging them to attempt even more daring ways to extort us.. (i have stories :o)

if you have any issues with warrants, fines, etc then email her at metrofines@gmail.com or look her page up on facebook.. i now do everything through her, why would you want to pay more than you need to??]]>

I have my laptop connected to my car and installed the Dicktator software but it does not have a very nice interface.

So I built a small program that captures the data packets from the Dicktator so that I can build something nicer and visually appealing.

The problem is, this is how I receive the data:

I gutted the cat so GM won't give me shit about exhaust since its a 2011 model still under warranty.
Is it worth getting it unichipped? Being plug and play I'd have no warranty issues right?
I know its a prehistoric 8V N/A motor so what can I expect torque wise?

Had a diktator management system installed by them on my 200ts.
Car hauls like a train now.

Had an issue where the car was jerking under boost. Took it to them.

The found the fault was a faulty plug, replaced all the plugs and just
charged me for the cost of the plugs. No labour charges although they
spent over an hour on the car and I drove in without an appointment.

Its great to know there are still some honest guys out there willing to
go the extra mile in aftersale service.
